|Aunt Jean Wins 2018 Mid-Atlantic Championship|
It was another blustery, late October J/35 Mid-Atlantic Championship, but that was just fine with Jim Sagerholm and Jerry Christofel's Aunt Jean who came out on top once again in the two-day regatta. Close racing, punctuated with gear breakage on at least three boats, did not make the task easy, however. Second place went to Roger Lant's Abientot, despite two bullets and two second places across the five races. Bruce Artman's T-Bone was close behind in third place. Hats off also to Maury Niebur's Bump in the Night and Jim McNeely's Maggie for sailing well in tough competition and sporty conditions. Detailed regatta results are available here. This weekend concluded the 2018 Fleet 7 racing season. Looking forward to more fun on boats in 2019! Cheers!
